We report a severe case of pulmonary paracoccidioidomycosis in a renal transplant recipient and demonstrate deficiencies of in vitro lymphocytic transformation assays, skin hypersensitivity tests, as well as low levels of antibodies to Paracoccidioides brasiliensis.
